Paintings in the ‘Simplicity’ series are inspired by a big life lesson I have learned during the covid-19 pandemic; Life can be truly beautiful when it is simplified. Paintings in this series do not include my signature trunk and roots linework and are in a more simplified colour palette. The work aims to celebrate the simple pleasures that taking the time to slow down and enjoy nature can bring.
